This role requires a broad set of technical skills, a creative problem-hunting mindset, ability to organize your work, as well as great communication skills.
Big pluses are
- Solid experience in programming or scripting
- Experience in professional support work, ex logs analysis or bug reproduction
- Interest or experience in financial markets or trading systems
- Attention to detail when tracking down that elusive bug or learning something new
- Being a quick study
- Comfortable with doing command-line work (Linux-based systems)
- Solid analytical mindset and a thirst for understanding
- Having a pragmatic problem-solving attitude
- Demonstrates initiative, drive, and self-planning
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to spend your time on
- Being a technical expert who handles advanced support cases. These require technical digging, for example correlating reported user errors to logs and database entries.
- Compiling the relevant technical findings for bug tickets which are then passed on to the product and development teams.
- Communicating professionally with our clients, both technical and non-technical while working to resolve their reported issues.
- Providing input for improvements and coordinating in general with the rest of the support team.
- Communicating and executing your daily priorities.
- Occasionally adding custom emojis to our Slack environment 🙂
